The stretch of Arizona between Wickenburg and the Nevada border is spectacular, particularly the Joshua tree/saguaro interface between Wickenburg and Wickieup. I took a brief detour in Kingman, to visit the Mother Road, old Route 66, then continued on to Lake Mead and visited the Mike O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge and the Hoover Dam--two great examples of American infrastructure investment. Then it was on the Vegas, where I am now. KillerCon fun starts tomorrow.
